Why Go?

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" -Isaiah 6:8

I wanted to dedicate my summer to following God, and He has led me to go on this summer project with Campus Crusade for Christ. I am still unsure exactly how the summer will go, or even how I will raise all the support I need to get there. However, I know that God is faithful and will see me through.

This blog is simply a place where I will be sharing stories of how God shows His faithfulness and the amazing things that I am sure He will do this summer. I will post pictures when I can, and stories when I can, depending on how much internet use I get over the summer. (Not sure yet how much of that there will be!)

Thank you so much for all of you who are already supporting me, either financially or through prayer and encouragement!

Prayer requests:
-for the people I and the other summer project members will meet this summer: that God will prepare their hearts to listen to His message
-for my other project members: that they will see God's faithfulness in preparing for the trip
-for me, that I may rest in God's peace instead of worrying about details
-for the rest of my support money to come in before I leave
